This is another downtown car show similar to Clifton Springs and Waterloo. Main Street closed to all traffic at 9:00 AM except for show cars. ( all cars welcome).

. Restaurants and stores will be open and the Women's Hall of Fame and Seneca Waterways Museum will also be open-both at no charge. Registration is free for our show, they do take donations the day of the show to help with expenses. They have door prizes at 11, 12 and 1, 50/50 drawn at 2 pm, followed by awards. DJ from 9-3 while the street is shut down. When you pick up your registration packet that day, it will include a map of downtown with info on everything open on the back of the map. Town of Gates, Recreation Dept. is celebrating 60 years with a Party in the Park on Sat., August 12th from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. They would like any and all cars from the 50's for a classic car show. Of course anyone is welcome to attend, but only 1950's cars will be in the show. There are many events planned including food trucks, music and fireworks. There will be tricia, pony rides, crazy contests, pictures from backdrops of that era. There is no charge for the events. Looks like a lot of fun. We have planned an exciting RCC group cruise to Michigan to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise. This event is a classic car event held annually on the third Saturday of August in Metropolitan Detroit, along Woodward Avenue. The WDC Event spans much of the avenue, from Pontiac through Ferndale in Oakland County, Michigan, all the way to the State Fair Grounds inside the Detroit city limits, just south of 8 Mile Road.
For our cruisers, this will be a 6-day event that will have us leaving on August 15 with a route to go through Canada. The trip duration to MI will be around 6 to 6.5 hours with a return date of August 20.
There are a huge number of exciting events that we have planned (Listed Below) that will keep you busy all week long, so we hope you can attend. We have limited this group to 25 cars so sign up soon.
