RCC Watkins Glen Opening Day - Drive The Glen

Watkins Glen International Raceway

Enjoy the thrill of driving your Corvette (or street car) for three paced laps on the historic Watkins Glen International Raceway.  Watkins Glen International Raceway is a 3.4 mile road race course featuring 11 turns.

Steve Popple is not participating or organizing this event this year. 

Gil Alexander, our 2025 RCC President will be coordinating this year.

2. You may purchase more than one set in advance at the discounted price
3. This is a Saturday, April 5th only event – you must have a Smartphone to show your ticket purchase.    Sunday, April 6^th will be used as a makeup date in the event of rain
4. Our Clubs time (RCC & KCC) is NOON at GATE 3.  (if we have more than 10 cars)
5. If you purchase more than one set of laps in advance at the discounted price, after your group run, go back and re-enter at Gate 2.
6. Restrooms will be available at Gate 3 and porta-johns will be available up in the paddock, if you enter through Gate 2.
7. We expect that TrackTime Photos will be there taking pictures.  You will have to purchase them online, as last year.
8. We expect The Pyramid (WGI Gift Shop) to be open.  (Credit only, No Cash)

For those who want to participate, please use the URL Link below to purchase online tickets with the Coupon Code WGIDRIVE1 (this will get you our Club Discount), then register on the RCC Website under this Event, (so we know who to expect that morning) and we will meet at Wegmans on Route 5 & 20 in Canandaigua at 10 AM and then go to track.  We will use Gate 3 if we have 10 or more cars, If not we will go to Gate 2.   You will be required to show your pre-paid QR code ticket on your Smartphone.    The discounted ticket is only available online in advance.   At the track, the price will be $38.85 payable only with a credit card (No Cash).  When we arrive you must sign a waiver in their presence. (No pre-signed)
