Rochester’s popular spring event, the Lilac Festival, has been given the green light on their plans by Monroe County and New York state for 2021.
The annual Flower City festival typically attracts 500,000 people and is the largest free festival of its kind in North America, according to its website with entertainment, a parade, food expos and more. It was one of the many events cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. This year it aims to safely come back with a smaller scale event.
