Glenn Curtiss Museum & Snug Harbor Restaurant
On Thursday, September 5th we will be traveling to the Curtiss Museum https://www.glennhcurtissmuseum.org in Hammondsport. The Curtiss Museum features a wide variety of both permanent and temporary exhibits. In addition to aircraft, motorcycles, automobiles and permanent exhibits including the history and legacy of Glenn H. Curtiss, the history of Hammondsport, wine making in the Finger Lakes, women in aviation, Mercury Aircraft Inc., and much more. The tour will be approximately 1-1/2 hr. You will need to pay your admission when you arrive.
After the museum, approximately noon, we will be taking a short drive to Snug Harbor Restaurant for lunch. We have an area reserved for the club on the upper deck for lunch. Lunch will be a limited menu (see below) because of the anticipated group size. Separate checks will be available (preferably per couple). Access to the upper deck is limited to a stairway with hand rails. Restrooms are on the 1st floor of the restaurant.
Costs: Glenn Curtiss Museum $9 per person.

10:00-10:15am arrive Glenn Curtiss Museum.
10:30am Start tour
Noon drive to Snug Harbor Restaurant
After lunch you can visit any of the local wineries or breweries in the area.
Head count is needed by Aug 30th for both the museum and Snug Harbor.
